Allentown Freak Out is seeking submissions of Photographic images to exhibit at Allentown Art Works, 818 W. Hamilton Street, as part of the Allentown Freak Out Festival, June 2012. Allentown Freak Out is the region’s only festival focused on avant-garde arts and entertainment.
Kiki Nienaber, creative director of FUSE Art Infrastructure, will curate and organize this exhibit at Allentown Art Works.Working Title: BEYONDCall is open for: Digitally manipulated and traditional Photography. Artwork must be in a “freak out” fringe, experimental or avant-garde theme. DEADLINE is April 30, 2012. Accepted artists will be notified the following week and will receive an Allentown Art Works contract and follow-up email with drop-off instructions.
Allentown Art Works takes a 30 percent commission on all sales resulting from the exhibit.
Allentown Freak Out and FUSE Art Infrastructure assume no liability for the care or handling of artwork during this event. The artist will assume responsibility for delivery and pick up of work to Allentown Art Works. FUSE Art Infrastructure will be responsible for hanging all works.
The Allentown Chen Arts Group includes artists living and working in Allentown, as well as regional artists who are interested in exhibiting and selling their work in Allentown. The group includes visual artists, film makers, musicians, dancers, writers, and creative people of all ages who are interested in supporting and promoting the arts in Allentown.
