What a neat peak inside's Raf's studio and creative process, great job! Look forward to seeing additional Chenster installments!
This is great! Wow, there is a lot of production in that studio. I like what Rafa said about the "synergy" of the Chen group. We can influence each other and learn from each other, and together we can make a powerful statment. That's how art movements start.
This is a great way to collaborate and share the art form the Chen Group. I've seen many of Rafael's pieces and there is so much more than can be covered in a short video. However, this clip gives more insight into what Raffy thinks, which can be different that what you see. I love it.
Our sneak peak into the studio of Raf Canizares is quite fruitful, the grounding expressions of the artist himself, and the subtle expressions of his work are invaluable social experiences. His participation in Art, Human Genius, is real and very beautiful.
Wow! What a beautiful video. Thank you, Pancho, for this beautiful piece.
I loved the part when Rafa said, "There is no irrelevant work. As I think of the piece, as my hands touch the piece, the act of transforming the material in itself transforms me, because just that act modifies my view of the world."
That's how I feel and I hope others feel when they get involved in working to improve the community...whether through the Chen Arts Group, or other volunteer opportunities. No work within the community is irrelevant! It transforms us and modifies our view of the world. Thanks, Rafa, for reminding me!
We're so glad everyone is enjoying the video. We hope to present more in the future!
Wonderful video -- the work Raf is doing is a reflection of the beauty in his soul. I am so appreciative of his work and I plan to listen to this video again and maybe again to get additional insights. The video almost has a meditative quality as the tone of Raf's voice, the images on screen and the thoughts presented brought me a resting, a peaceful moment.
Great Video! I like the part when he showcases the partially melted vessels to underscore the concept of things you cannot control and learn exceptance of them.
Great video! Rafa is an allentown treasure!
